There is more than one type of Los Angeles and there is more than one type of Angeleno. You could live here all of your life and never meet a real one besides yourself. Everyone has their own view of what they think is the real deal in LA, first up you have to make sure that the person talking to you actually lives in LA and not one of the little weird surrounding cities that constitute LA County. Then you have to see if the person talking to you is even from the city to begin with, nothing like second hand information from a outsider. And if the person in question isn't from here, make sure their opinion isn't work/race related....
