Devin KKenny There's such bravery in the choices, and such care in the choices : where to go abstract/cerebral, where to tell a straightforward and crucial story, where to use speech to encourage healing, where to use speech to face oneself, where to flex and showcase the talents that have been developed and continue to be hewn, where to skate and bop, where to complement other voices, where to allow things to be loose, where to allow things to be highly structured. This was an invigorating listen!

"I've included stuff to read in the form of PDFs for a few years now. I liken it to a reading list/syllabus for the class that may be this record. I've included a couple of books that may have been in records past (I can think of the remote viewing book and some of the R.A.W. stuff off the top), but that's because they are lessons that I want to impress upon the community engaging in this material. While I am in the process of assembling a substack page and other supplemental documentation in order to explain my personal take on the significance of these materials and their relevance in my artistic work and lifestyle, here is a scholastic order in which to process the fringe subjects:
    IN ORDER
    A. [introducing fringe/alternative philosophies on current events and mental tactics/potential sources of subversion by authoritarian concerns.]
    1. Robert Anton Wilson/Prometheus Rising
    2. Seymour & O'Connor/Introducing NLP
    3. Tim Rifat/Remote Viewing

    B. [intermediate instruction of occult based psychological techniques to implement in common communal scenarios and clandestine metropolitan operations.]
    1. The Chaos Files
    2. Richard Bandler/Tranceformations (NLP) & The Structure of Magic
    3. Dion Fortune/Psychic Self Defense

    C. [advanced instruction in psycho/social/ontological techniques and how to spot/prevent attack.]
    1. Michael L. Hall/Frame Games
    2. Wilhelm Reich/The Mass Psychology of Fascism
    3. Valerian/Matrix III v.1
    4. Valerian/Matrix III v.2

    bonus
    -The Essential Underground Handbook
    -Transforming beliefs at meta-levels
    -Remote Influencing

A lot of the "lessons" and "messages" are hidden all throughout the record in the form of specific lines, phrases, tones/samples used and so on. While introductory explanations are provided for each song, the purpose of the production is to create a multi-layered immersive world that is almost exclusively designed and described through the power of sound, and the spoken/written word. This is a technique that role playing games (both analog and digital) of the 80's and 90's (think Rifts and Shadowrun versus AD&D) shared, thus augmenting the supra descriptive imagination/subjective reality of the receiver/listener. Using the eternal vision of the "metropolitan sprawl-scape" as both the virtually visual backdrop and sonic true north of the production, both the lyrics and subject material ultimately complete the creation of a topographical map resembling a terrain that's grounded in all manner of scientific intrigue and oblique subversive customs limited only by the mind's eye of the listener..."

"I don't know how to feel about you/-I don't know how to feel at all (repeat)"
2.
"The interlude was taken from a recording from the almighty Dick Gregory from a record entitled Frankenstein. It was a short and informative piece on the concept of genocide in the inner city. The hook sample was Saafir off of the song Town S#!t from the first Hobo Junction EP. Neither label or admin could be found, so these are uncleared samples. If I actually make some money from this, I'll pay Saafir and Dick Gregory's estate straight up..."
